| Objective |
|
In order to expand the voluntary services, NTU Experimental Forest has utilized the social enthusiasts to form the narration voluntary team. They provide narration and enquiry services in Sitou Forest Recreational Area in order to promote the spirit of forest protection and ecology nursing.
|
| Existing situation |
|
Since 1998, our Experimental Forest has recruited volunteers in three stages. There are 41 persons in stage 1, 44 persons in stage 2 and 68 persons in stage 3. There are 153 persons totally. Most of the volunteers serve in the Sitou Forest Recreational Area.

| Service location |
|
The locations managed by our office (including Sitou, Xia Ping and Feng Huang Recreational Area)
|
| Condition for participation |
|
Age over 18, graduated from high school or above, love nature, with enthusiasm on contribution and service, able to obey the service period and able to serve over one year.
（1）Narration：the one who studies natural science, active or retired teacher, or living in Nantou, Yunlin,
Chiayi, Changhua and Taichung County will be in priority.
（2）Gardening and nursery technical job：the one who studies gardening or working in relevant fields will be
in priority.
（3）Guidance of foreign teams: the one who is good in expression in foreign language (such as English and
Japanese) will be in priority.

| Details of service |
|
（1）Guidance (including Grade 1-9 Curriculum in outdoor), fixed point narration and activity design.
（2）Technical guidance and services on gardening and nursery.
（3）The enquiry, playing film, annotation, putting books in order in the Services Center and Display Center,
and support other tourist services in the Area.
（4）The communication, activity, data entry, time table and other volunteers management business.
